Message #40386
[Bug 1651619] Re: multiple auth for one user
Mahara already supports having two authentication methods for Moodle
users. If you have LDAP / AD or single sign-on set up, you can make that
a parent authentication method to MNet and allow your users to log in
via either method. It's the "Parent authority" option in the MNet auth:

rpc-mnet-authentication

Title:
multiple auth for one user
Status in Mahara:
Invalid
Bug description:
I'm using 1 Mahara and several Moodle (Mahara is the hub).
It could be nice if a user could enter to Mahara entering by Moodle or by Mahara.
Today, if I configure one Moodle as entry gate, the user of this
institution won't be able to enter directly in Mahara. If he want to,
I need to change auth methode in his configuration to
"his_intitution:internal".
I could be usefull if we can easilly have more than only one auth
method for users.
