Hi Scott,

The help info should have been updated with this commit
02390236097a049f08c5b840bfc3421941f48a1b (see
https://reviews.mahara.org/#/c/6355/) when changing to new system for
picking tags.

When viewing help it will fetch the file once and then rely on the
cached version until you refresh the page.

Could this have been what was happening, you were seeing a cached older
version of the help?

  "Show tags" link removed, help text still refers to it

Bug description:
  When creating a new item like a journal entry, the tags field no
  longer has the "Show tags" link above it, however the pop-up help text
  still refers to it.

  Looking at the javascript code the show tags link has been
  deliberately removed, so the help text should be updated.
