[Bug 1675695] Re: Switch default blog post settings for drafts

It is easy to put a journal entry into draft mode before it is being
saved if the author doesn't yet want it to be displayed. Unless the
entire journal is in a page, the entry has a tag that is published
directly into a page or is part of the "Recent journal entries" block,
journal entries are not visible unless they are put into a page.

You can change the default setting in your Mahara instance in your
codebase if you want to have journal entries in draft state rather than
published directly.

Title:
Switch default blog post settings for drafts

Status in Mahara:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Version: Mahara 16.10
  OS: Linux

When somebody creates a new blog post, the default setting is, that
this post is not a draft - it will be directly published. More logical
and secure is to save a draft, except the author want it to be
  published directly.

  Responsible file: mahara/artefact/blog/post.php
