We need to make a series of changes in Mahara to comply with the GDPR.
More info is available on the wiki at

Since there will be a few changes (T&C and versioning, various consent
switches for the site and institution), a new section should be created
in the admin area under "Institutions": Privacy. There all privacy
related items can be collected and configured for the site and
individual institutions.
