Message #53557
[Bug 1827197] [NEW] Better ClamAV message
Public bug reported:
When you configure ClamAV for virus checking, you may get a notification
like the following:
---
Subject: Mahara :: ClamAV notification
ClamAV has failed to run. The return error message was There was an unknown
error with ClamAV.. Here is the output from ClamAV:
Killed
The file has been moved to a quarantine directory.
---
This message is a bit confusing as it first states that ClamAV failed to
run, but then it does state that a file was placed into the quarantine
directory. However, it does not mention what file and where the
directory can be found.
This needs to be investigated and improved to give a clearer indication
of what is happening.
