Hi Steven,

we implemented the plugins in a mysql db scenario and unfortunately don't have any experience with postgres.
However, I hope, that we were able to solve the problems with the newest patch even if they are theoretical - As mentioned before we don't use postgres.

  Extend Mahara with new Plans plugin features and a new plugin module
  called Submissions, which increases significantly the UX of the
  submission handling for group admins and tutors.

  The combination of both plugins provides new workflows regarding to
  assessment scenarios and plan management for all users.
