Public bug reported:

http://developer.photobucket.com is not available any more and it looks
like that it's not possible to use API keys with Photobucket these days
as the help centre doesn't have anything. An online search didn't
produce anything of note on the Photobucket site.

It might be time to decommission this image gallery option.

We should also check the other external image gallery options and see if
they still work at the same time.
