Bug 1903618: Allow info button on plugins to work if clicking inner span

- add in check for infomodal
- removed unneccesary console.log statement

Bug description:
  The info button for needs to still work when clicking on the inner
  span of the element, otherwise it's possible for an information modal
  like 'courseinfo' to produce a blank modal without the information
  supplied.
