Hi Julia. Can you please check your error log for the actual error
message? That would give some insight into what's going on. If possible,
also please attach the Leap2A export as long as there is no confidential
/ personally identifiable information included. You can open the XML
file in a text editor and change the email address and name if that were
the only sensitive information, for example.

  import leap file fails Mahara: Site unavailable

Bug description:
  when trying to import my old leap2a file (119kb), after I've ticked
  the "Add new" & "Ignore", I receive the following error:

  Ihr Portfolio importieren

  Mahara: Site unavailable
  A nonrecoverable error occurred. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the system

  
  Mahara version: I don't know where to find this?
  OS: OSX
  Browser: tried with latest version of Chrome and Safari, didn't work
