DESCRIPTION:

I want some performance counters to be maintained per-query in addition to per-
session. This could then be used to implement SHOW QUERY STATUS. It could also be 
used to augment slow query log output with additional performance data per 
statement. The Facebook patch and probably Percona already put more data per 
statement in the slow query log. With the Facebook patch the option --log-slow-
extra enables this. Unfortunately, that uses the session counters and can be 
confusing.
