That's just how it was done :(
But

1. I don't think it's an issue for you at the moment, the current length
   should be sufficient.
2. Good timing :) This limitation is actually lifted now, it was pushed
   yesterday into bb-10.2-default branch and will be appear in 10.2 real soon.
