Re: Single-threaded performance & optimizer overhead

Colin,
All,

Any benchmarks of maria-10.0.1 or of a built over the carrent
10.0/10.0-base trees do not make any sense, because these
trees are based on innodb from mysql 5.6.5, not on innodb from mysql 5.6.10.

It's a well known fact that innodb of mysql-5.6.10 is much faster than
innodb of mysql 5.6.5.

Regards,
Igor.

Do you have benchmark results for a single-threaded workload with fast queries (like SELECT one row by PK from a cached table)? I am curious whether new versions of MariaDB have a similar increase in optimizer overhead.
