Re: New Question: ARCHIVE equivalent

Hi,

I would suggest TokuDB, though you will have to enforce the "no updates"
rule with permissions. Like ARCHIVE, TokuDB is compressing, but unlike
ARCHIVE it is also MVCC and has tunable compression levels. I'd recommend
an auto_increment to keep insertions in sorted PK order. The secondary
keys (as long as they aren't unique) can be maintained /very/ efficiently
in TokuDB, particularly if certain limitations with respect to binary
logging are allowed.
