modify the repo-file:
exclude=package1,package2,package3

if the repo contains *both* 5.5 and 10.x it's a bug anyways
because someone can hardly put a major update in the same
repo which is supposed to bring bugfix-updates and since
you are talking about cpanel packages it's not a upstream
fault
