It' quite annoying to have to click around the destination website to try to work out what it takes to actually run the tool. I suspect most people looking for a GUI tool already have an operating system they want it to run on, and sometimes even restrictions on how much extra stuff they can install to get it working. So saying "runs on MacOS... you just need Parallels and a Windows licence" is unlikely to make sense.
