Message #03929
mysqld syslog flood Bad file descriptor
Hi
Over the weekend I had a problem with one mysqld instance.
This single instance flooded our entire syslog infrastructure with
~190mio log entries within 6 hours.
The messages was:
"140289656219584 [ERROR] Error in accept: Bad file descriptor"
mysqld:
/usr/sbin/mysqld Ver 10.1.16-MariaDB-1~trusty for debian-linux-gnu on
x86_64 (mariadb.org binary distribution)
I will configure rsyslog to throttle such entries, but anyways, is this
a known problem?
Cheers
