Hi!

I am looking at http://kb.askmonty.org/en/annotate_rows_log_event. 

This feature is only present in 5.3. However, the output there shows:

master> SHOW BINLOG EVENTS IN 'master-bin.000001';

Note that the version is 5.1.44! THis is confusing. How did we get this output?
Is it because binlog annotation was a patch against 5.1 at some point?
