Hello again Slavko, and welcome to the team. We're very happy to meet you.

Don't worry about your English, which is fine, or about minor bugs in
your packaging, which can always be fixed :-).

I'm Luca Saiu, 32 ; I'm finishing my PhD thesis in Computer Science at
University Paris 13. The other co-author or Marionnet is Jean-Vincent
Loddo, my PhD advisor and associate professor at University Paris 13;
Franck Butelle, who contributes a lot to Marionnet, is also associate
professor at University Paris 13; Jonathan Roudiere has studied at
University Paris 13, and contributed the first debian packages and the
Pinocchio distributions; Marco Stronati, now at the University of Pisa,
Italy, has done documentation and translation and work.
Users and teachers all around the world reported bugs and provided
feedback. I hope I'm not forgetting anybody.

Ok. The first obvious question would be: we would like to integrate
your system for generating packages within out Marionnet and OCamlBricks
repos, in order to have something like a "debian" Makefile target, for
example. Of course some packaging time dependencies such as pbuilder
will need to be added; no problem about that.

Now, I have to confess I've never seen the system used by Franck to
generate his packages. Franck, what do you suggest to do? Shall we try
merging the two things?

So your sources are currently at
http://debs.slavino.sk/pool/main/m/marionnet/ . We have to integrate
your changes into mainline (maybe temporarily working on branch, it the
thing is nontrivial). We're gonna have a look at them in the next few
days, and let you know; unfortunately I'm too busy to start working on
sources at this time.

Does anybody have a debian/ubuntu installation we can break, for testing
packages? :-) Jean-Vincent, hadn't you set up a machine just for that?
Was it axium?
