[Bug 756852] Re: A process died unexpectedly: wirefilter (fresh install)
This kind of information is very useful, as we can't test all possible distributions. I've documented the issue:
http://www.marionnet.org/wiki/doku.php?id=howto:howto_for_debian-like_distributions
.
Thanks,

Title:
A process died unexpectedly: wirefilter (fresh install)
Status in Marionnet - A virtual network laboratory:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Hi -
Just installed latest version of marionnet on an 32-bit Ubuntu 9.04 (marionnet_from_scratch) and I faced the exact same problem reported here:
https://lists.launchpad.net/marionnet-dev/msg00208.html
The problem seems to be related to a missing library:
wirefilter: error while loading shared libraries: libvdeplug.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Installing the libvdeplug2 package was enough to fix the problem here.
HTH
Regards,
