I have debian packages in my personal public repo, see more info at
http://slavino.sk/ulozisko-apt . Perhaps they will be usefull for you.

But if they will be in the official (or backports) repo, i will remove them.

This was my idea too, but it seems that there is lack of time for this.
While, IMHO there only some checksum is missing, to check the kernel
after downloading. I have them as binary package only = donwloaded and
inlćluded thing in package, but this will not be acceptapble for debian
people.

IMO, this is better to solve this on the Debian level = make own one, to
reflect debian /etc/default things, etc. You can take init script from
my marionnet-daemon package.
