  Applied to the Pts module a workaround for a bug or unexpected behavior of Thread.select and Unix.read, possibly related to pseudo-terminals generated by a UML kernel running on a 64-bit x86 Linux host. This behavior and the solution are detailed in a long comment at the end of the code pts.ml. Minor changes for the rest of the files.
