I tested the subtitle fix you made in revision 269 of me-tv and it
didn't work. But then I tested the latest revision (rev. 283) and I can
confirm that the subtitles work just fine with that! Great work! :)

Bug description:
When watching a TV channel that send DVB standard subtitles (not burned in to the picture) Me TV doesn't show subtitles.
When trying to select desired subtitle from a menu, the only option available is "subtitles disabled".
