The leak was reported to me via email.

"when I am starting it (I am using Ubuntu 7.10 amd64 with Me-TV
0.5.25) it is using 18MB of RAM. 10 hours later (still running for
recording 2h) it is using 227MB."

It's not much to go on but hopefully we can reproduce.
