Re: [Bug 219562] Re: Autosurf locks up

I will, but it may be a few days.? If I install the V4L drivers for my
card in Ubuntu 8.04, it breaks my webcam driver.? If I compile both
drivers together, they work, but it breaks the
Ubuntu?window??interface.? Since both are in kernel 2.6.25, I tried
compiling that kernel.? Well then my wireless card breaks, and NVIDIA
drivers don't work right, even with fresh installs done like NVIDIA
support says to do it.? I'm going to do a clean install of 8.04, install
the V4L dirvers again, and live with the broken webcam until Ubuntu puts
in kernel 2.6.25.

ARGGHHH!!

Subject: [Bug 219562] Re: Autosurf locks up

In revision 348 I've added a configuration entry for auto_surf_interval
as well as increased the default timeout to 10 seconds. Please give it
a try.

Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: Fix Committed

Bug description:
Running 0.5.27 in Ubuntu 8.04 beta. Hauppauge HVR-1500, in ATSC mode.

Autosurf will consistently lock up the application. The application continues
to surf, and doesn't respond to pressing autosurf again, or any other button.
Hitting the close box in the window says that the app is not responding, and
gives an option to continue or quit now.

In addition, while autosurfing, the channel indication in the lower left window
frame never changes when the channel changes.

The log file shows nothing abnormal, and no error messages.
