[Bug 176854] Re: Me-tv should remove special characters from recording filenames
Yes, this should now reoccur in 0.6.2. This is not actually a Me TV
bug, it's a feature that is not very friendly to people using files
systems that can handle those special characters. Maybe you need to be
talking to Microsoft about this ;) or maybe the Samba guys. Maybe they
have something to deal with this issue that is common to all
applications reading/writing to Samba shares.
Good luck,
Michael

Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: Fix Released
Bug description:
Me-TV should be removing special characters from the filenames it uses to save recorded streams. On some filesystems, such as FAT32, which many external hdds are formatted in, me-tv will crash if it tries to record a program with a title containing characters such as ':' or '?' .
