Message #00972
[Bug 377050] Re: Failed to lock to channel at boot
Thanks to you verbose output I was able to see the point where I missed
the read_timeout value. Revision 436 in the development branch. Does
xine take a long time to change channels initially?

Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: In Progress
Status in “me-tv” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: me-tv
I get that error only at the start of the program. Then I can click any channel and I watch it. Always. I can change channel without any problem.
With xine I never get the error.
I execute:
atc@pc1:~$ me-tv --disable-epg-thread --read_timeout=100
Me TV 0.8.12
15/05/09 20:32:00: Setting display channel to 'Canal Sur 2 Andalucia' (2)
15/05/09 20:32:00: Waiting for signal lock ...
and I get the error in about 10 seconds. I don't know if the read-timeout option is working. It happens with any channel.
My system: Ubuntu 9.04, Gnome
My tv tunner: AverMedia A16D (Hybrid)
Because of the error, I can't use Me-TV to record using crontab.
Great program, anyway.
