I did install linux-backports-modules... but the same error comes back.
see the attachement of original post. Hopefully the verbose output helps
you more than me.

I am surprised I can install me-tv when some software required is
missing?

First three frontends are used by mythtv:

Bug description:
Binary package hint: me-tv

me-tv is installed from ppa repository
 http://ppa.launchpad.net/me-tv-development/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
but cannot be started as it is missing a correct vrsion of some file, see screenshot
