The following branch:

Contains the debugged code for setting up the serial bluetooth socket
between android and another device. I tested it live with the small
python server I wrote yesterday and it worked fine so I must have been
doing wrong before (I updated the phone's OS to version 2.1 last night
too, so maybe that took care of the issue). Eric, you should merge the
changes to your branch.

I also modified the UI a bit for a demo video I'll be recording this week.

Finally, I think we should freeze and merge this branch into trunk just
because it provides a nice contained app that may be used to debug the
bluetooth serial link if needed later but let me know what you think.
