[Question #74652]: the installation of googleearth to ubuntu 9 i386 stops at 45% and stays there more than a full day

I used the Packet-Installer - googleearth - i386

the procedure starts correct and then stops under the middle (ca. 45%)
I can wait more than a day - no chance - it stops there all the time
