As suggested by the Ubuntu Development help pages, and I hope to get
things moving along (because in my view, EasyMP3Gain is long overdue for
inclusion and a native 64-bit version would be nice to install instead
of the 32-bit version, as the 64-bit version is not available via the
official channels):

EasyMP3Gain:

EasyMP3Gain is a simple graphical user interace frontend for MP3Gain,
VorbisGain and AACGain, which allows the user to modify the loudness of
MP3, Ogg Vorbis and MP4 audio files.

Notes: Will require the installation of mp3gain for MP3 files, Vorbisgain for Ogg or AACGain for MP4 (AACGain is only available from Medibuntu).
