[Bug 496366] Re: Google Earth does a crash when it is opening on Linux distro Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic

Karmic 64-bit
Lenovo T400 ( Switchable graphics. Using integrated Intel graphics and Ubuntu drivers only)

I have changed owner of all executable files to foobar.

When starting Google Earth from applications menu the splash appears
briefly and then dissappears.

When starting Google Earth from a terminal window I see

foobar@foobar:~$ googleearth
/usr/lib/gio/modules/libgioremote-volume-monitor.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgioremote-volume-monitor.so

/usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
