Question #107968 on Medibuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/medibuntu/+question/107968
Tom proposed the following answer:
Hi :)
Most of the work-arounds wont work for me since i do not already have
the sources.list on this fresh install of 10.04
To play commercial/rental dvd's try installing libdvdcss directly from the videolan website
http://www.videolan.org/developers/libdvdcss.html
this download
http://download.videolan.org/pub/libdvdcss/1.2.9/deb/
For mplayer & the w32codecs try
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
