... and, please, don't tell: click there, go on "contact us"; than connect to IRC channel, and ask for the secret code to the x-men; than you use this code to open the page, where you'll find the secret token to decrypt the message that you can find by opening the 4th link that you'll find on a google search..... ^_^ 
A very simple message, spread to everyone from you website, IMHO, is a better solution: "Gents, we are experiencing problem with our server. Service is down and blabla ... apologies and byebye."
