It must have been a silent and quick fix, thank you very much.  Because
I got no indication that anything had happened.  And as soon as I sent
the first reply, it occurred to me to try Synaptic Manager and see if I
got the same error message about Medibuntu, but it was not there and
Synaptic opened up as it should.

Thank you again, and I will click the link also to verify the problem
was solved.

You just need to remove the repository file :
 sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
