I can confirm the same problem with the latest version of libdvdcss2, and get the 'error cracking CSS key' error.
As I regularly do upgrades on my system, it has become cumbersome having to keep downgrading my version of libdvdcss2 in order to watch my DVD's after every update (uninstall libdvdcss2, then install the older version via the DEB package over and over)

I've done a temporary workaround by extracting the module file "libdvdcss.so.2.1.0" from the archive http://download.videolan.org/libdvdcss/1.2.10/deb/libdvdcss2_1.2.10-1_amd64.deb and copied it over the top of the broken "libdvdcss.so.2.1.0" in /usr/lib . This has allowed me to trick Ubuntu into thinking I have the latest libdvdcss2 installed, and it no longer gets replaced each time I upgrade anymore with apt-get, and I can watch my DVD's in peace.
Hopefully Medibuntu will do a new update with a new version number to fix this issue properly soon.
