Road to IRQLinux 1.0 (development view)
Hi everyone,
IRQLinux Pre-Alpha [1] was an attempt to:
1. Buy sometime so we could work peacefully and quietly.
2. Prove that we are serious and not fooling around.
3. Have an idea of how the system that will build from Mini ISO will
look like and take notes.
4. Get serious.
5. Test IRQLinux Team and check who is serious and who is wasting
his/her time and our time.
IRQLinux Alpha should have some features:
1. Adding the default applications (not final list but at least most of
what will be included).
2. Some finished Artwork.
3. System Packages
4. Fixed Bugs if any.
5. Etc (if any).
IRQLinux Beta is the real challenge because:
1. It should have the final or pre-final shape for IRQLinux 1.0
2. IRQLinux should really be some how different from other
distributions, otherwise we are wasting time here.
3. Should have all the unfinished work (Artwork, Packages, Apps, etc)
from previous milestones (pre-alpha and alpha).
4. Fixed Bugs if any.
5. 90%-100% ready for the final milestone, that is RC (Release
Candidate).
IRQLinux RC is the final milestone which should be as bugs-free as possible
and have the very final shape of IRQLinux 1.0 :)
This is just a quick development view and it is NOT written on stones ;)
Feel free to add your notes by replying to all :)
Have a wonderful weekend :D
