Hi,

I registered some irc channel names on freenode.net

I'd like to add some more people as (possible) operators, so if you're
interested in increasing the famous Bus Factor, send me your irc nickname.

If there's enough interest, we can announce the channels on the mailing
list and web sites.

Furthermore, in our pursuit of Open Source & Standards everywhere, I'd
suggest to try out BigBlueButton so we can ditch Skype. Particularly
interesting for academics, I think. Please see http://bigbluebutton.org/
and tell me what you think of it. (Plan some time to evaluate it during
the probably boring first half of the FIFA 2010 final).
