Terminology Services
Hi All,
I am working on the MLHIM 2.x specifications that include all of the new
design approaches we have been discussion.
I have spent some time looking at the LexGrid suite of tools and it
seems to me that we should design our terminology services in harmony
with LexBIG.
When I looked at this last year they only had a Java API. Which of
course we could use but it would be a PITA. Now, they have a somewhat
functional REST API and they are using the YUI libraries for widgets
Which is what we discussed using to implement the MS/NHS Common User
Interface widgets as well. They do not mention CUI probably because
they are unaware. This gives us an opportunity to bring something to
them and be recognized as a serious research project to possibly
collaborate with.
There are a lot of tools and services in the caBIG family so I will
provide some introduction links for you all to review and comment on.
