Thanks for working on this.

First:  In order to maintain the integrity of the release process all new
changes must be made to the 2.1-dev template. The 2.0 template has been
finalized and released.

I  suppose we should actually just delete the 2.0 template from the source
tree.  This would avoid any confusion.

Second: If I understand your question.  It is why Composition inherits from
Folder and then the "Folder.items" attribute links back to Composition?  The
reason is that a Composition has Folder-like behavior; therefore the
inheritance.  Then, the contents (Folder.items) are always Compositions.  We
inherited this from openEHR.  It is confusing and probably should be
changed.  But the exact solution should be worked out as a community.

PS. In order to preserve the work you have done on the 2.0 template I
suggest just doing a Save As and overwriting the 2.1 template.  Since no
other changes have been made to 2.1 to date.  Then if you would just delete
the CCD-2.0.xmt (NOT the zip file).  This would prevent this from happening
again.
