Schemas
Hi All,
Getting no response to my request for managing the EMF Schemas. I have
removed them from the code tree.
The new 2.0.2 XML Schemas are located in the specifications schemas
subdir. These should be considered the MLHIM2 reference model. They are
matched with the current CCD template.
I have also created the Python bindings using PyXB. I will be uploading
these bindings as the Python implementation of the RM to the OSHIPpy
project. The goal will be to get those interested in any of the popular
Python frameworks to use these bindings to create a platform. So, we can
effectively have a Django, Plone, Grok, etc. platform all based on the same
reference model code.
If you are not following the specifications tree. You can get just the
schemas from https://launchpad.net/mlhim-specs as a ZIP file.
It will be helpful if others familiar with Java, Ruby, Lua, C++ would take
the schemas and create bindings for those languages. If there are any
issues please submit bug reports against the specifications.
There already OSHIP projects setup for each language. The bindings you
create can be uploaded there so that we can take the same approach as with
Python. This makes us all inclusive as far as platforms are concerned.
Thanks You,
Tim Cook
