HKCR Update & Request for help

Hi All,

The CDD is maturing rapidly and we will soon need to have a place for
collaboration in building the CCD models.

This of course has been HKCR. https://launchpad.net/hkcr

I have created the skeletons for a theme and for CDD file management.
The installation instructions are here:
https://answers.launchpad.net/hkcr/+faq/689

For those of you that have some theme development skills it would be
great to have HKCR look more like http://www.mlhim.org

We have the artwork for that website.

I have created just a bare contenttype for CDDFile. I will be adding
the metadata fields over the coming days.

Our partners at C3SL - UFPR (http://www.c3sl.ufpr.br/) have agreed to
host to the first and central HKCR installation at http://www.hkcr.net
It is planned to begin this setup in June.

Please feel free to comment on the role of HKCR here as well as
entering Blueprints and bug reports on the Launchpad site.

The current concept is that everyone that wants to stand up their own
HKCR may do so (everything is open source) and the various sites will
publish their CDD files and status via RSS to the central hkcr.net

The big task for HKCR development right now is the tool to convert the
CDD File (content.xml) into a XML Schema (CCD). We already have a
tool that will parse the XMind file. We are now looking for a Python
developer or two to take on the task of the conversion.

It would make a GREAT student / classroom project. I am happy to
provide more guidance on this.

Regards,
Tim
