This is correct and I was just doing a mental draft of an email for
MLHIM-owners to point this out so that some parts of the model may
change due to that.  Especially the datatypes that were adopted from
XML.

The "Reference Implementation"  will still be XML Schema.  However, it
will be schemas generated from EMF.

True.  But no point in updating it until these changes are made.
