This is VERY doable as I have explained in a previous email.  I did
not go into details but hopefully your students will continue to ask
questions once they investigate mekk.xmind.

Everything in the content.xml file is identified by UUID.  Therefore
the metadata package is easy to work with since the UUIDs are constant
for all CCDs created in a specific CDD version (or versions as long as
the metadata package page isn't edited).  When the modeller copies and
pastes elements from the model to the CCD page then they create new
UUID identified nodes making the CCD unique globally.

Not at this point.  These two options are the ones that I concluded,
during several months of investigation,  were the most practical.
