2.4.0 Released
Hi All,
After extensive testing 2.4.0 has been awarded the "Tim's Seal of Approval"
for top quality MLHIM specifications and reference implementation in XML
Schema Language version 1.1
https://launchpad.net/mlhim-specs
As a side note: Due to my griping and complaining about version ambiguity,
the xml tool builders are coming around to supporting the versioned
namespace as specified in paragraph 1.3.4 of the XML Schema Language
specifications for 1.1
At this point though we still have to use the generic namespace xs="
http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" in order for the tools to work. Probably
by the time 2.5.0 is ready, tools (Xerces and SAXON at least) will
support xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema/v1.1"
Have a very MLHIMish day.
--Tim
PS. I am available for consulting to companies, governments and curious
wealthy people.
