Re: [Monasca-vagrant project] Kafka installation fails
Hi there,
AFAIK ansible roles to set up monasca are outdated and not used anymore.
If you are interested in checking out monasca components, see following links:
* ?monasca-metrics => https://github.com/openstack/monasca-api/blob/master/devstack/Vagrantfile
* monasca-logs => https://github.com/openstack/monasca-log-api/blob/master/devstack/Vagrantfile
* monasca-transform => https://github.com/openstack/monasca-transform/tree/master/devstack
Alternative approach would be to compose own configuration file for devstack and each all/one of above to enable
certain parts of monasca.
PS. If you still want to use ansible, let us/me know.
regards,
Tomas

Subject: [Monasca] [Monasca-vagrant project] Kafka installation fails
Hello,
The building of the mini-mon virtual machine machine in this project https://github.com/openstack/monasca-vagrant fails while configuring Kafka.
The error message I get is "FATAL : all hosts have already failed -- aborting"
(The detailed output of the command "vagrant up mini-mon" is http://pastebin.com/raw/uzTKXCB8)
Would you please help me ?
Regards,
