A simple question about e17-settings-daemon
Hi friend
I did this:
aptitude remove gnome-settings-daemon
Then, I installed the e17-settings-daemon
aptitude install e17-settings-daemon
Then, I configure my preferred icon adn GTK themes:
nano /usr/local/share/e17-settings-daemon/config
This is the default settings:
sNet/ThemeName=Clearlooks
sNet/IconThemeName=Tango
I changed for the new ones:
sNet/ThemeName=Maryan
sNet/IconThemeName=Mashup
I saved the changes. I rebuild the ISO file and test it on Virtualbox, but
when I run the liveCD the icon theme and GTK theme was not loaded. It still
be the default one.
*My questions are:*
Do I have to run any daemon? /etc/init.d/?
Do I have to do also, the configurations for E17 as you told me?
Create the new shelf, configure the shelf position, change it to
transparency and add the ibar to the shelf.
Configure everything in your desktop and copy
/home/user/.e/e/config/your profiles to
/usr/local/share/
enlightenment/data/config/. After copy
/home/user/.e/e/config/profile.cfg to
/usr/local/share/enlightenment/data/config. You can see
moonos-default-settings package for how I customize E17 desktop.
Thanks
