Objet: RE: Timestamp TCP option
Hi Gaetan,
I'm afraid this is not an MQTT related question. MQTT is not specifically dedicated to be used over TCP.
Please have a look at this :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmission_Control_Protocol#TCP_timestamps
Cheers,
Remi

Objet : [Mosquitto-users] Timestamp TCP option
Hello,
I'm a new mosquitto user, i'm trying to decode MQTT frame.
And i have a question, in the TCP header there is a timestamp option.
I'm wondering what's the purpose to use this option ?
Can I work without?
Thanks
ESCRIBANO G.
