Great idea, I agree. Everyday massive micro payment are imho the next big revolution, including it on next version of software center it's a win-win process, win for little free software project who gain popularity by Ubuntu and Canonical brand and a win for Ubuntu who gain more rumors and interest around develop of free software application, that is more developer, more application, more user and also more money for his products (e.g. u1) or sponsored projects.
