Ah, don't talk about workspaces, I loved them and suffer still from breaking their usability enough already.... https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/689733 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/683170
And "show desktop" deserves its own button IMHO.... ...(just as before)

If this problem is solved, workspaces can help a lot (and I think it's easy to solve). About the show desktop button: completly agree.
