But who said the majority of Ubuntu users don't like the global menu? It may well be the case that the majority of users on this mailing list don't like it, but it's been said before that this list is a small bias of users. There *was* usability testing done on Unity with both 10.10 and 11.04. Not once in the reports is disapproval of the menu voiced, in either version. So we can't say the verdict is going either way.
